Located in Gilbert the veterinarians at Lake Murray Animal Hospital are committed to your pet's health. Lake Murray Animal Hospital has been a fixture of the Batesburg-Leesville/Gilbert community for over 45 years. Founded by Dr. William Howard Giddens in 1965, the practice has continued to grow and provide service to our surrounding community. Dr. Heyward Boyette and Dr. Ginger Macaulay purchased the clinic in 2000, where it continued to operate in the original building that was first used as a service station for truckers. In 2008, a new facility located a few miles from the original building was opened, which has enabled us to improve our quality of care for our patients.
Lake Murray Animal Hospital is a full-service small animal hospital whose mission is to provide the highest standard of veterinary care for dogs and cats. We provide friendly, informative, and supportive services for you and your pet, while maintaining a pleasant working environment for our employees.
Lake Murray Animal Hospital offers the Gilbert animal community medical, surgical, and dental veterinary care as well as access to our sister hospital located in Lexington, SC. With an in-house pharmacy and access to specialists, our facility offers one stop for your pet's health and medical care.
